Castor Sugar
Castor sugar, also known as superfine sugar, is a type of sugar used in baking. It is made from granulated sugar that has been ground to a very fine powder. The tiny particles of sugar dissolve quickly, making it a great choice for baking and adding sweetness to drinks. Castor sugar has a higher sweetening power than regular granulated sugar, so you can use less to achieve the same level of sweetness. It is often used in meringues, macarons, and mousses, as well as other delicate recipes. It can also be used to sweeten cold beverages, such as iced tea and lemonade. Castor sugar can be substituted for regular granulated sugar in most recipes, however, it may affect the texture of the finished product.
